Cleaning a list of lines
Lists collect repeats: an email list exported twice, hashtags copied from several posts, product names pasted from different sheets. This tool keeps the first copy of each line and drops the rest, and it can also trim spaces, remove empty lines and sort what is left.
Choose whether Apple and apple count as the same line. Sorting is natural: item 2 comes before item 10, and letters sort by the alphabet of your language.
How to remove duplicate lines

Questions people ask
Does it keep the first or the last copy?
The first copy stays in its place and later copies are removed.
Can it ignore capital letters?
Yes. Tick Treat Apple and apple as the same and they count as one line.
Can I sort the list too?
Yes: A to Z, Z to A, or shortest first. Numbers inside text are sorted naturally, so item 2 comes before item 10.
Is my list uploaded?
No. It is cleaned in your browser and goes nowhere.
